Mary is featured as a Tarot expert at almost every major Tarot conference and symposium around the world. The American Tarot Association elected her a Grandmaster; she is a member of most Tarot organizations throughout the world. Mary also has a wide following in the women's and pagan communities for her work in women's spirituality and magic. Lady Olivia Robertson of Clonegal Castle, Ireland ordained her as one of thirty-two Arch-Priestesses in the Fellowship of Isis which has 15,000 members in 48 countries.
She has authored five books on Tarot in the past 15 years: starting with Tarot for Your Self: A Workbook for Personal Transformation up till her most recent one, The Complete Book of Tarot Reversals. She also wrote Women of the Golden Dawn: Rebels and Priestesses -- the biography of four 19th-century magicians. She co-authored Aromatherapy: Healing for the Body and Soul, and helped with the creation of Ed Buryn's The William Blake Tarot of the Creative Imagination.
Mary wrote and recorded a telephone Tarot Hotline for SELF Magazine and has been featured in various issues of the magazine. In 1988 she authored and narrated An Audio Introduction to Tarot and a video called Healing Emotional Pain with Tarot. Mary writes regularly for New Age publications, and often appears on radio.
Tools And Rites Of Transformation (T.A.R.O.T.) is a learning center founded and directed by Mary for the study of divination, women's mysteries, and the transformative arts. She leads workshops throughout the country and in Europe.
A world traveler, Mary has lived in Japan, Germany, England, Mexico, and in six states in the USA. When she is not on the road leading workshops, she resides in the foothills of the Sierra Mountains.
